The cityscape between the tall buildings is incredibly wide, and you can immediately feel how three-dimensional and bustling the city of Chongqing is. The night view is beautiful, but it's also great during the day or at sunset. When you go to the observatory, there are always one or two local photographers standing there taking pictures. They take pictures right away and send them via Airdrop or WeChat, and for about 10-20 yuan, they'll take one or two shots. The results are definitely much better than a regular phone. However, the style emphasizes the background much more than the person, so it's suitable for when you want to take a picture with a 'nice background' rather than a 'pretty face'. The camera lens is also set to wide angle, and the background is sharp and magnificent, and the person is relatively small. So if you wear neat clothes and strike a pose, you can get at least one shot with a good atmosphere. Some people even brought lighting equipment and reflectors, so there were cases where they took pictures quite professionally. There are many tables outside in the air raid shelter, but it can be a bit dusty, so I recommend sitting inside if you're eating. The owner is very easygoing, an introvert who's trying their best to be extroverted for the business, haha. When it's not busy, the owner will play a tune on the piano, which creates a unique atmosphere. Drinking coffee and listening to piano music in an air raid shelter is a contrasting experience, but I loved it; it was very therapeutic. ☕️I tried the Ink Wash Latte and the Grape Sparkling Americano. The Ink Wash Latte is more photogenic, but the milk flavor is strong, and the coffee flavor is a bit weak, not suitable for someone like me who usually prefers Americanos. Latte lovers might enjoy it. But the Grape Sparkling Americano was perfect for me! The grape sparkling water and Americano flavors blend well, offering both the refreshing taste of sparkling water and the rich aroma of Americano.
