We then walked slowly over half an hour before the lighting ceremony, as Pingtung Park is only a five-minute walk from the church. A Christmas light tree had been installed in front of the church gate and it looked very nice, but there were not as many people on the scene as I had expected, less than ten people. I was still wondering why the lighting ceremony had not started at seven o'clock, and after more than ten minutes I couldn't stand it anymore and checked online. Later I found out that it was a big misunderstanding. The lighting ceremony was at the Taiwan Presbyterian Church of Peace on Minzu Road, not the Taiwan Presbyterian Church of Peace on Ren'ai Road.
