2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣5️⃣Slow Tour of Kaohsiung, Taiwan for 4 days and 3 nights DAY3️⃣ One-day tour in Cijin About 6 minutes’ walk from Hamashing Station, we arrived at Gushan Ferry Station and took the ferry to Cijin Ferry Station. The journey only took 5 to 10 minutes and the ticket price was NT$30. After arriving, we rented a four-person electric bicycle for sightseeing. ➡️Attractions: Windmill Park Our first stop was to the farthest "Windmill Park". We lost the bicycle path after walking down the road and had to walk out onto the road. Several cars got lost along the way and it took us a while to finally get into the Windmill Park. 🙈 ➡️Attractions: Sea Pearl Sea Pearl is a peculiarly shaped building with various ocean-related displays to help you better understand the charm of the ocean. ➡️Attractions: Rainbow Church The Rainbow Church is a very unique building with a colorful exterior that gives people a full fairy-tale feel. This is also a popular spot for couples to check in. ➡️Attractions: Qijin Old Street Food After returning the car, we strolled along the Cijin Old Street, where there are all kinds of authentic snacks that make people drool. ➡️Attractions: Qihou Tourist Market Next, we came to the Qihou Tourist Market, where there are all kinds of local specialties, which is very suitable for shopping and window shopping. ➡️Attractions: Cijin Beach The Qijin Beach has fine sand and clear water. ➡️Attractions: Douliu Ice City On the way to the Shell Museum, we passed a dessert station "Douliu Ice City". We ordered a cup of ice cream and chose the three-color ball so that we can try more flavors. The longan has a light sweetness and fruity aroma, the sour plum is sour and sweet, and it is refreshing enough. The classic milk is the most delicious, with a strong milky flavor. Kaohsiung Cijin Secret Land - Starry Sky Tunnel This used to be a secret tunnel. This 2-day, 1-night trip wasn't enough to explore everything. The transportation is convenient, making it perfect for a relaxing stroll and sightseeing. 📍The tourist spots are close to each other. You can take the light rail, the green line, to tour around Kaohsiung. Every station offers plenty of activities, including eating, sightseeing, and shopping. ⛴️🛳️🚢 The ferry to Cijin Island is convenient, taking about 10 minutes. I recommend spending 3 days in Kaohsiung for a worthwhile trip.

After a recent trip to Taiwan, I decided to try booking flights and renting a car on Trip.com and found the whole process very convenient! First, I booked my flight from Hong Kong to Kaohsiung on Trip.com, which was simple to operate, transparent prices, and instant confirmation emails. After landing, I stayed in Kaohsiung for three days and three nights, wandering around and feeling the unique charm of the city. In Kaohsiung, I visited many famous attractions, including the Bok-2 Art Zone, where I admired a range of cultural and creative installations and street art, and to Lotus Pond, the lakeside views are very beautiful and still worth a visit. One of the meals I went to Taiwan's very famous Ding Tai Fung, it was my first time in Taiwan to try, ordered small steamed buns and other dim sum, thin skin and beautiful filling, as expected, really delicious and worth eating again. At night, of course, there is no shortage of Liuhe Sightseeing Night Market and Ruifeng Night Market. Both night markets have their own characteristics. Ruifeng Night Market is larger, more crowded, and has a wide range of food choices. It is simply a food paradise. We also went to Kaohsiung Lighthouse to enjoy the beautiful scenery. The view is vast and refreshing. During the trip, I also took a car to Kenting and visited the beautiful Longpan Park, the sea and sky are the same color, super relaxing! After that, I took the high-speed train from Kaohsiung to Taichung, rented a car through Trip.com, and chose the full insurance plan to drive to Sun Moon Lake for a more peace of mind. Although it was a cloudy day, the temperature was cool and there was haze surrounding the lake, which was quiet and beautiful. The itinerary included the Wenwu Temple, the Xiangshan Visitor Center, and the Xuanzang Temple, however we didn’t stay too long because of the tight schedule, and we drove back to Taichung when we were done. Finally, we stayed at a hot spring hotel in Uri City near Taichung for a night and enjoyed a quiet night soaking in the hot springs. The entire trip, from booking tickets to renting a car, was handled by Trip.com. If I go again next time, I will definitely use Trip.com again!

Kaohsiung Cijin is a great place

Cijin is a great place for a day trip, featuring sea views, delicious food, and historical sites. For first-time visitors, the following itinerary is recommended: Morning: Explore Cijin's History and Nature 1. Take the ferry to Cijin • Take the ferry from Gushan Ferry Station, it only takes 5 minutes to reach Cijin, very convenient! • If you have a scooter, you can bring it on the ferry. 2. Cihou Fort & Cijin Star Tunnel • First, climb up to Cihou Fort to overlook the entire Kaohsiung Harbor and see the historical relics. • After that, walk into the Star Tunnel, which is decorated with blue lights, and exit to a seaside trail. Noon: Feast on Seafood & Cijin Old Street 3. Eat seafood on Cijin Old Street • When in Cijin, you must try the seafood! Try oyster omelets, grilled squid, swordfish cakes, or find a stir-fry restaurant for a seafood feast. 4. After seafood, have some ice cream or peanut roll ice cream • There are many unique ice creams here, such as Zhi Zai Ice City, or try peanut roll ice cream, refreshing and cooling! Afternoon: Ride around the island, enjoy the sea breeze 5. Rent a bike or scooter to tour the island • Cijin's coastline is beautiful. It is recommended to rent a bike or electric scooter and ride along Cijin Coastal Park, enjoying the sea breeze. • Along the way, you can visit the Shell Museum and Cijin Rainbow Church for photos. 6. Play in the water or take a walk at Cijin Beach • This is the most beautiful beach in Cijin, where you can wade in the waves, play in the sand, or relax on the shore. The tunnel is small with lightning on it and the walls of the tunnel are craved by tourists which unfortunately destroyed the finishing of the walls Once you’ve made your way through the tunnel, which runs through Cihou Mountian, you’ll be surprised with unparalleled views as the road opens up to huge boulders and crashing waves. I love this part of the ocean because the waves are so tumultuous; you can hear them clashing and it is so glorious, especially on a cloudy day with rain.
