Nanzoin Temple - the world's largest bronze Nirvana Buddha
Prohibited behavior: It is forbidden to wear revealing clothing (such as hot pants, short skirts, tank tops, etc.) to visit the temple. An entrance fee of 300 yen per person is required.
Nanzo-in Temple's tranquil atmosphere and rich religious and cultural background make it a worthwhile attraction in the Fukuoka area. Both religious believers and ordinary tourists can find peace and tranquility of mind here.
Nirvana Buddha Statue: The Buddha's hands are tied with five-colored ropes, symbolizing the five rays of Buddha. Visitors can hold the ropes and pray for blessings. In addition, the Buddha's feet are painted with auspicious patterns. It is said that touching the Buddha's feet will bring good luck. 
• Seven Lucky Gods Tunnel: On the way to the Nirvana Buddha Statue, there is a tunnel decorated with statues of the Seven Lucky Gods, representing different blessings, such as wealth, longevity, wisdom, etc., with rich meanings. 
• Great Acala Statue: The temple also houses an 11-meter-tall Acala statue, holding a sword in his right hand and a rope in his left hand, with flames surrounding his back, symbolizing the exorcism of evil and the protection of believers.
Transportation: Take the Fukuhoku-Feng Line from JR Hakata Station for about 35 minutes, get off at "Kirouto-Minamizoin-mae Station", and walk for about 5 minutes to arrive. #travel
