We spent the last 3 days in Macau and were pleasantly surprised. We stayed about 2 km outside of the main area on the Cotai Strip, and if I could choose again, I would definitely stay closer to the action. Macau is like a replica of Vegas, it has themed casinos and hotels, and luxury shopping. Our favorite was the ##venetianmacao , #parisianmacao and the #londonermacau . If you are into architecture I would also highly recommend checking out the Morpheus hotel which was desined by famous architect, Zaha Hadid. Macau has an interesting history leading to a unique blend of Chinese and Portuguese influences. While the entertainment scene is lively, we also enjoyed the historical sites like the Ruins of St Paul, Monte Fort, and St Dominic’s Church located in Senato Square. All in all, it was a memorable experience, and I’d highly recommend visiting for both the modern attractions and the rich cultural heritage.
