This was my first time in Rome and I highly recommend going to Sistine Chapel and the Colosseum. We started our day around 11am and managed to visit both places leisurely by 5pm. We got our tickets online but I think you can buy at the counter dependent if you are going during peak season. I went in August so it was definitely very busy. The tickets were roughly 60euros for entry to both places. Visiting Colosseo is definitely a must when traveling to Rome. To avoid queue, be sure to book your ticket a week before your visit. I was going to buy the ticket on the spot, but it’s a long queue on site and the tickets are almost sold out. I’ve tried to buy the ticket the night before our visit but I couldn’t get a ticket. So I went on the second day at 8.30am to buy the tickets, ID is required when you purchase the ticket. Student promo price is only valid for Europe citizen. The normal ticket is €16 which give you one time entrance to the colosseum, palatine hill and Roman Forum. My advice, avoid visiting in summer cuz it’s gonna be super hot! #rome #

In my recent trip been Rome, it was such a memorable experience ! I have seen lots of ancient times buildings and one of my favourite building in Rome is colosseum. Colosseum is one of the famous highlight in Rome and the outside of the building is awesome! Furthermore, I have been Colonna Traiana which is a historical landmark facing to Piazza Venezia in Rome . The architecture has inspired me a lot ! Therefore, please book your flight and come to Rome to explore !

Rome is the capital of Italy and this place is full of history, art, architecture and especially the food. For example, you can try the best carbonara and gelato in here definitely! Last month, I have been Rome and seeing the huge colosseum which was fascinating. It was my pleasure to stand in this historical building and have a proper look. The Colosseum, the greatest amphitheater of the Roman Empire and still the landmark of Rome. We visited in October where the sun set quite early. We arrived just before sunset and hence could only manage to walk from the outskirts. Next time we would join a guided tour. There are several sightseeing points around the Colosseum and it was a great walk around Rome where we ended in the Sciasia Caffe 1919 after an hour or so, a few streets from the Vatican. Sciasia Caffe 1919 Address: Via Fabio Massimo, n.80/a, 00192 Roma They have its unique blend of coffee and pastries are surprisingly good as well. No wonder it stands from 1919 till now. What a wonderful found!

The Colosseum is a giant Roman amphitheater in the city center of Rome. It is a huge oval building with a length of 189 meters. Its construction dates back to the era of the Roman Empire in the first century between the years 70 and 72 AD. The Colosseum is considered one of the greatest works of Roman architecture and engineering. Part of the Colosseum was destroyed by a violent earthquake in the Middle Ages. The name of the Roman amphitheater, the Colosseum, was given after the colossal statue of Nero that is located next to it I did many activities during my visit to the Colosseum In all my travels, as usual, I start wandering around the place to explore it. So I started walking around the Roman Colosseum building from the outside and watching its magnitude and splendor of its construction Really I was stunned 🙀😇, I said what a greatness. The greatness of the Roman Empire that was in those ancient times. Fortunately for me, it had only been a few weeks since the third and ground floors of the runway were opened, allowing tourists to enter and see the runway from above. So I was able to enjoy and watch this great historical landmark and take some souvenir photos from the top. My feeling was second to none Trips to historical cities have always been surprising to me The Colosseum is considered one of the most important places of tourism in Rome, so I strongly advise you not to miss the opportunity to visit this famous landmark. Pretty crowded inside, best to take shots outside for better angle snaps. Address: Piazza della Rotondo, Rome. 4. Castel Sant’Angelo- another splendid, eye-catching panorama collection! Address: Lungotevere di Castello 50 Rome 5. Piazza di Spagna- you can find a Baroque style architecture, and the Spanish steps which will be a good backdrop for your candid shots while strolling around. Address: Plazza di Spagna.
