Are you going to Osaka? Cross!
I went to Osaka for 3 nights and 4 days
I stayed at Osaka Cross Hotel near Dotonbori
It was within 10-15 minutes walking distance from Namba Station (there were a lot of people on the street so I couldn't go fast.. I assume you walk very slowly).
I was busy walking around so I didn't actually take many pictures of the room,
but I wrote down my satisfying experiences while staying at Cross Hotel.
1. Ichiran Ramen
Are you going to eat Ichiran Ramen when you go to Osaka?
There's an Ichiran Ramen branch on the 2nd floor of the building right next door
I saw it when I went to Don Quijote and took a picture
It's really right next door ㄷㄷ
I was hooked on Ichiran so I went there for breakfast all three days
and there was no line! It's really close
If you go around 10:30 in the morning, it's completely empty ㅎㅎ
2. Don Quijote
It's right in front of you if you cross the crosswalk in front of the hotel;; It's a branch, so it's a bit small, but it has almost everything.
You can walk to the main Don Quijote store in 5 minutes.
After shopping at Don Quijote, if you go to the hotel, it's a bit of a hassle, but it's close, so it's nice.
3. Glico sign
It really doesn't even take a minute to walk...
If you go in the morning, there are no people, so you'll definitely get a great shot..!!
I took 500 pictures in the morning and evening for about 3 days.ㅋㅋ
4. Amenities Disposable toiletries
I don't remember the types of amenities, but they used basic disposable products like toothbrushes, combs, shower towels, etc., which are eco-friendly products. You can choose as much as you need yourself.
There's a large bathtub in the bathroom. When you check in, they give you bath salts and bath salts. Use them when your legs hurt after shopping in the evening.
Your blood circulation improves, so you can sleep well, and your skin becomes super soft as if you've been to a hot spring. It's amazing..!!
5. Water, towels, and room cleaning
Some places charge extra for water and towels, but
here, they refill them with new ones every day for free (the water comes in a can, which is amazing)
Room cleaning is also free every day.
Some places don't do it at all or charge for it because it's a multiple-night stay...
I had a laptop and a DSLR with me for work, so
Honestly, I hesitated a bit to clean the room because of my valuables,
but they even opened up my pajamas that I threw out in a hurry in the morning, and their sense was just...the best.ㅠㅜㅜ
6. Friendly staff who can speak Korean
At first, I had a hard time because I didn't know how to use the elevator
(If you don't swipe your room card on the elevator, the buttons won't work;)
When I asked them something, they were really kind and explained it to me in Korean.
When I asked if water and towels were free, they understood right away ㅜㅜ
7. There's an ice water purifier, microwave, and ice bucket on each floor
I like cold drinks with ice, but this is really It was so good.
I put it in beer and drinks and used it very well.
8. Hair dryer
Many Japanese hotels have weak hair dryers,
and I was worried because my hair is thick, but the hair dryer was stronger than my Dyson;;
9. Umbrella in the hotel
It suddenly started raining so I didn't have an umbrella, but when I tried to buy one at the convenience store, a regular plastic umbrella was 870 yen...!! It was about 8,500 won so I didn't buy it because I felt bad about wasting money;; When I got rained on, they lent me an umbrellaㅠㅠ The service was really great.. If you ask the front desk when it suddenly rains, they'll lend you a pretty umbrella with Cross Hotel written in red!
10. 3rd floor breakfast restaurant 2nd floor gym
I couldn't use the hotel breakfast because I was on a food tour,
but I happened to hear from people who had breakfast in the elevator and they said it was really delicious.
I ate so many different things while traveling that I felt like my stomach was going to burst,
but I didn't have enough stamina to go down to the 2nd floor and exercise, so I couldn't take pictures..;;
I booked a triple room with three beds,
so I couldn't stay in a room with a view of the Glico sign,
but it was on the 12th floor, so the street view was pretty good,
and it was quieter than I thought, even though it was on the main street.
I hope this was a good tip for those who were curious about Osaka Cross Hotel^^
