Qiao Bo, the governor of Jianzhou in the Qing Dynasty, wrote the poem "Cuiyun Corridor, protected by green smoke, moss and flowers in the shade, rain wets clothes, branches and leaves hang down, cool breeze blows by". Since then, the name "Cuiyun Corridor" has been preserved. According to archaeological data, most of the ancient cypresses that wind for more than 300 miles in Cuiyunkuo are natural forests, and a few are artificially planted. The "Cuiyun Corridor" named in the Ming and Qing Dynasties is more than 300 miles long, from Jiannan to Langzhou and west to Zitong, with tens of thousands of ancient cypresses. In fact, the ancient cypresses stretch for more than 300 miles as described in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, but for at least 700 to 800 miles, from Qiqu Mountain in Zitong County to the south and Jiange to Mian County in the north, all of which are green mountains and lush natural cypress forests.
