Historic buildings
Mountain climbing

Daci Rock is located 24 kilometers south of Jiande City. There is a golden double-faced Buddha statue on the mountain. Half of the temple building on the hillside is embedded in the belly of the rock, and one side is suspended in the air. It is similar to the Hanging Temple of Hengshan Mountain, so it is also called the "Hanging Temple of Jiangnan". The word "hanging" is reflected everywhere in the Attraction. The plank road, temples, and big Buddha are all built on the steep cliffs. Although most of them are rebuilt, people can't help but marvel at the creativity of the ancients. Tour routeThe tour route in the Attraction is roughly a circle. To visit Daci Rock, it is recommended to take the cable car up the mountain and then walk down the mountain counterclockwise to save time and effort. After going up the mountain, there are still ups and downs on the mountain road. Some places are not sheltered, and it will be more sunny in summer. The fun of the whole tour is to walk along the zigzag plank road along the cliff, admire the trails, temples, Buddha statues embedded in the mountains, as well as the long green hills and small towns at the foot of the mountain in the distance. The scene is very spectacular. Suspended plank roadYou can see the golden double-faced Buddha statue on the top of the mountain from a distance. After getting off the cable car, you will reach the suspended plank road after a short walk on the mountain road. The plank road is a good place to take a panoramic view of the main buildings of Daciyan. Don't miss it. When walking on the plank road, don't forget to look back and take a close-up photo of the plank road. The flying eaves pavilion attached to the mountainside can also be regarded as the landmark of Daciyan. Continue walking forward for a while, and the natural standing Buddha is another feature here: from the side, the main peak of Daciyan looks like a standing statue of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva. Strange rocks, strange caves, and plants are harmoniously combined into the facial features of the Buddha. Visitors who come here will stop and watch without exception. Interior of the templeThe two-faced Buddha and the Ksitigarbha Hall are the highlights. Visitors can walk along the plank road to the two-faced Buddha statue to see its true appearance, or go to the Ksitigarbha Hall to pray. Under the cherry tree behind the Tianmen Gate, the branches are full of red ribbons for people to pray for blessings, revealing the quiet temperament of Buddhism. The statues in the Arhat Hall are also quite powerful. After visiting the Ksitigarbha Hall, go out of the temple gate and there is a trail down the mountain on the right hand side (about 30 minutes). The trail is relatively hidden, and you can ask the staff if you can't find it. The scenery on the way down the mountain is also good, accompanied by streams. In October, when the ginkgo leaves turn yellow, the scenery is more charming. If you want to go down the mountain by cable car, you need to return to the upper station of the cable car by the same route. In addition, Xinye Ancient Village, the filming location of "Where Are We Going, Dad?" in 2014, is not far from Daciyan, so you can visit it together. It feels great to see old houses, visit ancient villages, and experience the same recreational activities as celebrities.
