Looking for more hiking trials in singapore, there are many located in the west where some isn't as popular or possibly not as well known as the others. The Wallace trial is located at dairy farm Road which connects from the rail corridor as well from bukit timah where the walking path here is on a gravel path and accessible for bicycles. The trial is a 2.2km hike located right outside of the hillbiew mrt but if you decide to complete the dairy farm loop this will brings you 1 round which will takes you approx 6km for the entire loop. #celebratewithtrip #hiking #singapore #nature #trials #wallacetrial #nature

Went hiking to the Wallace Trail - Dairy Farm Nature Park, which is located by a 8-mins walk from Hillview MRT Station. According to NParks, it is a 63-hectare nature park which was developed in 2009 as an alternative recreational venue to Bukit Timah Nature Reserve. Here, you can find special amenities such as the Wallace Education Centre & Wallace Environmental Learning Lab. On this trail, you can find past civilisation, fruit trees, squirrels but my favourite was, the adorable cow statues as this was once the World’s First Tropical Dairy Farm in the 1930s acquired by Cold Storage which ceased operations in 1970s. I hiked for 56 minutes which was nice & tiring as it's connected all the way to Upper Bukit Timah. This was my first time hiking and as a newbie, I didn't bring much essentials, let alone a water bottle and was dehydrated the whole way. Nestled in a short alleyway and a restored courtyard house It lets you be away from the noise of the traffic Room is nice, hotel is clean, staff are helpful, location is great.

Address - Mac Ritchie reservoir Highlights - several tracks and area to explore, love the scenery however tree top walk is currently under renovation which was a pity. went during a perfect weekday afternoon but it was closed. walked another hour to upper pierce reservoir. it took us another hour or so. there was nothing much to see at upper pierce so I guess I’ll explore lower pierce reservoir next!
