A natural heritage site of Tottori Prefecture, along with the Tottori Sand Dunes,
it is a famous mountain with an altitude of 1,709m, the highest peak in the Chugoku region.
It was once selected as one of the top three mountains in NHK's "Japan's Famous Mountains Ranking," following Mt. Fuji and Mt. Yari.
There are also tourist spots such as Mt. Daisen Temple, Ogamiyama Shrine Okumiya, and Tottori Prefectural Mt. Daisen Natural History Museum,
and it is easy for beginners and children to climb, making it a recommended mountain for families with children.
You can enjoy it all year round, with fresh greenery in spring, mountain climbing in summer, autumn leaves, and skiing in winter.
