[Daegu] Dalseong Park: A place of relaxation for citizens with a zoo that can be enjoyed for free
#TravelRecordsAsia
Dalseong Park is said to be the remains of an earthen fortress built during the Three Kingdoms period.
I entered through the back gate by climbing the bank,
which is said to be an earthen wall.
It is said to be about 10m high in some places.
In the vast park, there is a tower (Gwanpung-ro) designated as a cultural asset,
a history and culture museum, a grassy park, and a zoo.
The zoo is surprisingly authentic! And it's free! ️
A playground modeled after an earthen fortress has been built near the back gate,
and I was lucky to be able to witness the unveiling ceremony.
The main gate is lined with food stalls in the morning, so
I'd like to come back and play some more.
