The so-called Dayong Ancient City is actually the old appearance of Zhangjiajie before it was "modernized". In simple terms, it preserves some of Zhangjiajie's old buildings and becomes a tourist attraction after renovation. In the past, you had to pay an entrance fee to enter the city. I don't know if the performances inside have stopped these days, so there is no entrance fee. Forget it. The 72 Wonders Tower is more fun than you think. To be honest, you can still have fun here even if you don't buy a ticket. ​ There are a lot of aboriginal people setting up stalls on the street outside Qilou, selling some unique products of Zhangjiajie, such as wax gourd and berry tea.
