The de Falck windmill is a famous sight in Leiden and the third windmill to be located at the same location. Built here is the plinth windmill, built in 1611. Then there was a wooden burqa windmill built in 1667, a stone windmill built in 1743, this windmill originally had six torque stones, and inside the windmill there were two rooms, first for the two owners, later for the Used by the miller and his servants. Today, the windmill has been converted into the Municipal Windmill Museum and has been re-run after 2000.
