#europetrip Parking available on site for cheaper than a garage/lot. I rushed to the stone and was fortunate there were only a few people in line. The stone itself was a must, but I was way more impressed by the castle and the grounds. I especially enjoyed walking through the gardens and wooded areas. I could have spent much more time here, I probably spent 2 hours walking around. Some of the trails are paved and wide. Others are narrow dirt paths. This was my favorite tourist attraction while visiting Ireland. I wouldn’t buy tickets in advance, the lines are all the same to get in so it won’t save time.

#europetravel My Favourite cafe in Cork. The views, food, coffee and the staff all are picture perfect. I have tried veggie toasties, cajun chicken toasties along with the vegan mushroom roll. The pastries section is a whole new adventure yet to be ventured by me, though I have had few bites of red velvet and lemon cake. Pet friendly cafe. Bring them here and enjoy your coffee. Highly recommended.

They also give you one profiterole for free. It's so yummy! The staffs are so friendly and always looking after the customer needs. I have nothing bad to say really. This cafe is too perfect for me . Great coffee, with several other varieties of Frappuccinos, Iced Coffee, etc as well as several types of milk, etc We priced their huuuge sausage roll, which was amazing, but I will definitely come back to try their sandwiches, which look delicious! I can understand why, this was a delicious cup of coffee. They have some pastries as well as a few flavors of ice cream. The building is quite small and tight (cozy). There is some fairly close quarters seating inside, as well as a pretty large (for Irish coffee shop standards) outdoor seating are as well. Highly recommend if checking out the lough and seeking a coffee break.

I did not expect that the place would be so busy. I would advise booking the place in advance. There was a lot of people but luckily we were able to get a seat. Their customer service is impeccable. I was a little bit skeptical about their menu but when I tried it, all doubts went away, this is the best pancake i have ever tasted. This started the day right. Customer service is exceptional and food was really great. Really worth it getting here. Double thumbs up to the staff! Thank you for all your hard work!

#europetravel Such a lovely cafe with a stunning view of Blackrock castle. The service was superb with a reasonable wait time between courses. We had Chicken liver pâté with plum chutney to start, followed by Hake fillet with potatoes, pesto and green beans and a spiced chicken thigh salad for mains. Dessert was brownie with honeycomb and salted caramel and dark chocolate cashew delice. If I could only use one word to describe the food here it would be delicious!!!

#europetravel This is truly an "interesting" café for all the right reasons. Its a place you'd go if you want to try something that's a little bit different but outside the city. The first thing you'll notice as you enter is an array of awards on the outside wall. The awards denote a consistent and conscientious approach that has made this cafe popular, despite its rather remote location. The cafe has been in operation since 2013, when two brothers Aiden and David set up a cafe in their dad's old workshop. It has a warm welcoming feeling, and one thing that marks it out is the vast array of antiques and memorabilia scattered throughout the eating area. Some are for sale but most serve to remind us of times long gone. The menu is quite good, focusing on traditional dishes and incorporating both a separate breakfast and a afternoon selection. The coffee (cappuccino) I had was good and the accompanying toasted chicken pesto sandwich was a real tasty delight.

#europetravel The food at Izz Café is incredible - from the delicious hummus and fresh bread, to the magnificent magloubeh, and of course the wonderful desserts, you are spoiled for choice from start to finish. There is something for everyone, and occasionally seasonal treats like the luxuriously decadent sahlab, if you are lucky enough to get hold of a cup! It's like a hug in a mug! Your whole experience at Izz Cafe is like being surrounded by family and friends, with the option to learn more about Palestine and the Palestinian people while you eat. If you haven't yet had a chance to visit, do check it out. But make sure to reserve a table - you can do it online - to make sure you don't miss out!
