Deer Park a.k.a Taman Rusa is a decent place but only few deers around. Other than that we can also see few hen and rabbits in cage. If you are visiting lake garden then there is a rear entrance to deer park and it makes more sense to visit deer park and lake garden together. Decent place for young kids as it is free entrance but not much to do.

They're located inside the Perdana Botanical Garden. When I visited, only the enclosure viewable from a distance was open. Even that was partly shut as the bridge that is closest to the ground level was blocked off. From a distance, I counted less than 10 deer in total. So if you’re a deer lover, then prepared to be disappointed if you were expecting a close up view. There is a deer park in the southeast of Kuala Lumpur City, which is open to the public free of charge. The trails in the park are very carefully crafted, and taking into account the convenience of the tourists, a full circle has come down and just finished the tour. The lush greenery surrounds the park and inside, even at the noon of the hot sun, it doesn't feel unbearable. The park is mainly a mouse deer. The mouse deer is the world's smallest hoofed animal and a famous animal in Indonesian and Malaysian folklore! Super cute!

Various large trees are planted in the center of the grassland, forming a natural green shade. Here, you can enjoy several kinds of wild animals strolling leisurely on the trees, such as zebras, sika deer, fallow deer, etc., and have close contact with nature. The Deer Park cleverly integrates three different landscapes, the grassland zoo and the tropical lake ecology, making people feel as if they can appreciate the rare and unique scenery from all over the world in this small park. It is undoubtedly a perfect journey both visually and experientially.

Highlights: It is not easy to find a Deer Park like this in a busy city. The grounds are nice, full of lush forested greenery and landscape. The enclosure was mostly grass with shade, but encompassing a far smaller area than the whole deer park. Other than that we can also see few hen and rabbits in cage.
