[Must-Read Before You Go | Important!] 🎫 Tickets & Reservations! Reservations! Reservations! ✅Timed Entry Ticket: During peak season (usually April–October), you must grab tickets on the official website in advance! Popular time slots disappear in seconds! Remember to set your alarm! ⏰ Without a reservation, you most likely won't get in! ✅America the Beautiful Pass: $80/vehicle/year, allows you to visit all US national parks. A must-buy if you plan to visit 3 or more national parks in a year! Can be purchased on-site or in advance. ✳️What if I can't get a ticket? A small number of tickets for the next day are released every day at 6pm (Mountain Time), so you can try your luck! ☀️ Best Time to Visit: ✅Spring and Autumn (April–May, September–October): The weather is the most comfortable, with moderate temperature differences. Consider sunrise if you want fewer people. Note: The second half is climbing a large rock slope with no shade. If you go in the summer, be sure to protect yourself from the sun and bring enough water! The last section of the road is a bit dangerous, so those with a fear of heights should be cautious. 2️⃣The Windows Section (🚶‍♀️ | Easy loop) Includes North Window, South Window, and Turret Arch. The road is very easy to walk, with almost no difficulty, suitable for the whole family. There are many photo spots, so it's easy to take great shots. 3️⃣Balanced Rock (🚶‍♀️ | Next to the parking lot) Right by the road, just get out of the car and you're there. [Itinerary Suggestions] ✅One-Day Highlights: Early morning → Park Avenue → Balanced Rock → The Windows Section → Double Arch → (Lunch/Rest) → Start hiking Delicate Arch in the late afternoon to watch the sunset. ✅Two-Day Deep Dive: Day 1: Morning Devil's Garden Trail (hike to Landscape Arch or further) → Afternoon The Windows Section & Double Arch. Day 2: Early morning Delicate Arch to watch the sunrise (avoid the crowds) → Morning Park Avenue → Balanced Rock → In the afternoon, you can choose Fiery Furnace (requires a guide or permit) or play near Moab. [Photo & Outfit Tips] ✳️Time: The golden hour (after sunrise/before sunset) has the softest light and the most saturated colors. ✳️Angle: Use the foreground (such as small stones and plants) to add layers. Include people in the photo when shooting arches to show how magnificent they are. ✳️Outfit: It is recommended to wear bright or solid-colored clothes (red/white/yellow/orange) to contrast with the reddish-brown rocks, which are super photogenic! The park is famous for its natural stone arches, and they truly live up to the hype. 🏜️ I started my day with the iconic Delicate Arch hike. It’s a 3-mile round trip, and though challenging, the view of the arch against the vast desert landscape was absolutely worth it. 🌟 I also enjoyed the scenic drive, which takes you past various arches and rock formations, including the famous Landscape Arch and the Windows Section. 🚗💨 For a relaxing afternoon, I drove to the Fiery Furnace area, where I did some light scrambling and admired the unique rock formations. Don’t miss the sunset from the park's viewpoints; the changing colors on the arches are magical. 🌅 Arches National Park is a must-see for nature lovers and photographers. Visit Utah National Parks: The park is located in Utah. March is still the off-season. Therefore, air tickets and hotel prices are economical. There are few people in the park. Fly to Salt Lake City, rent a car and drive to Moab, which is about 230 miles and 3.5 hours. Salt Lake City is surrounded by mountains. The snow on the top of the mountain is still there, adding some color to the city. According to locals, the snow on the top of the mountain will not melt completely until June. As we drove south out of the city, the population became increasingly sparse. If you are alone on the road, you will definitely feel a little lonely. Fortunately, it was sunny for 4 days with comfortable temperature. However, the sunrise and sunset views were not very satisfying and were not very impressive. Feeling a little disappointed. The first two days, we mainly spent time in Arches National Park. The park covers an area of ​​about 309 square kilometers and has more than 2,000 natural rock arches, among which Delicate Arch (Figure 6) is world-famous. It is composed of sandstone (entrada sandstone), which is eroded by wind and rain. Many natural arches collapse due to excessive wind erosion, but Delicate Arch is famous for withstanding long periods of wind erosion without collapsing. It is one of the most photographed arches in the park and is featured on the Utah state sign. During the 2002 Winter Olympics, the Olympic torch relay also passed through the arch.
