[2025 Pengerang Stay] Travel Guide for Desa Selatan Resort (Updated May)

Desa Selatan Resort(Southern Village Resort) is situated in an outskirts industrial area, Lot 5850, Kg Lepau Development, Mukim Pengerang, Johor. It was a bit tricky to get there(even by GPS) without calling front desk staff for enquiry. Personally not really fond of the location coz surrounded by Rapid Petronas site, the nearest place to get dinner is Sungai Rengit town(20km away). However, the resort is nice and with quite a large area, can just park your car outside the room. The room is nice, spacious and comfortable with excellent cleanliness. The friendly stuff will sending the simple breakfast to each room around 7.30 morning. Booked this resort with Trip.com's promo voucher, pleasant and worth for a stay! #mytripvlog#tripblazers

Sungai Rengit is a small town by the seaside which has plenty of seafood restaurants. Visited 2 times there for the lobsters! The landmark at this small town is a lobster which we managed to take photo with. after a delicious lunch, we continue our journey to Desaru and visited the waterpark there. it is definitely a memorable moment with families travelling around this area!
