Travel around the world|One-day city tour in Seoul.
️⃣My Citywalk starts from a unique coffee shop☕️——Mail Room. This store is themed after a retro post office and is decorated with stamps and envelopes. When you order a cup of fragrant latte, you can instantly feel the Seoulese’s dedication to details.
️⃣I went to learn the gayageum, a traditional Korean musical instrument. This instrument is quite similar to the Chinese guzheng, but its tone is softer and clearer. Under the guidance of the teacher, I tried playing a few notes and felt the elegance and ancient charm contained in them.
️⃣At noon, I walked into the Kwak Uimun Museum to gain a deeper understanding of the charm of Korean traditional architecture. This museum perfectly presents the life scenes of ancient Korean aristocrats. The exquisite wooden structure and courtyard layout reflect the ancient Korean pursuit of harmony between nature and life.
️⃣In the afternoon, we visited 1960 Coffee Shop. This store is full of retro sentiments, and the furnishings and music have a strong 1960s style. It seems to travel through time and space and dialogue with the urban culture of that year. Take a break here, sip a cup of unique cold brew coffee, and experience the slow pace of Seoul.
️⃣In the evening it was shopping time, and I came to Shinsegae Department Store (Shinsegae). This modern mall not only offers a rich selection of merchandise, but its exquisite displays and services are also impressive. Take a small bag and take a stroll to savor the fashion and convenience of modern Seoul.
️⃣At night, I came to the lively night market to end the day's trip. At the smoky food stalls, I tried traditional Korean delicacies: fried chicken, spicy rice cakes and pancakes. Every bite made my taste buds dance. On this day, I not only appreciated the traditional culture of Seoul, but also experienced the city’s unique charm of coexisting modernity and retro.
