#mymymemories First step upon entering this hotel is really mesmerised us in a sense that it is so beautiful with traditional architecture and design that have been incorporated unto the entire landscape of this hotel. Recently launched as Doubletree by Hilton Putrajaya Lakeside, this property is really unique and really represents the rich culture of Malaysia in general. Not only through its architecture and design but also from its hospitality and services. Located in Putrajaya which is about 20 minutes from KLIA with Lakeside setting, it is indeed of the most beautiful hotel here in Malaysia. Due to its close proximity to the airport, it is a perfect base for tourist to settled down before transferring to Kuala Lumpur city centre. .

Doubletree Hilton by Putrajaya Lakeside is an amazing space to relax! Whether solo or with family, it provides amenities for you to chill and refresh yourself. Our room was about RM350/night and we really enjoyed the huge bed with its quality linen! We were allowed to check in early due to an early flight and because their signature cookies weren’t ready at that point, they gave us an extra cookie to make up for the wait! YUM! Kids will love the play pool area and adults may just prefer to sit by the infinity pool looking out into the vast sky. The buffet breakfast has a good spread and the service was good enough for us 👌 We did notice that housekeeping didn’t exactly clear trays outside rooms as efficiently as we expect but the surrounding is clean and there were no ants around the leftover plates. The bathroom felt luxurious and the toiletries provided were from Crabtree. TV channels were good too, clear and with a wide variety of channels to pick from. Doubletree putrajaya served this afternoon tea set at ttheir coffee cafe called The Koffee. The ambience here is very calm and relaxing. As for the food, it taste very delicious with the use of premium quality of ingredients. This afternoon tea set open from 12 noon till 6 pm everyday. Wide range of menu from Malay Kitchen, Indian kitchen, Chinese kitchen as well as western counter. For kids, there is a dedicated section for ice cream and colorful doughnuts. Why not spend your time here at Makan Kitchen restaurant which is owned by the famous Doubletree by Hilton Putrajaya Lakeside. Located 30 minutes driving from Kuala Lumpur City centre, it is also reachable by ERL Airport rail which took less than 30 minutes. This restaurant specialise in traditional malay cuisine and also Indian cuisine. Love their malay dishes as well as their freshly baked cheese naan. This buffet lunch available for weekdays and weekend. Prior reservation is advisable before coming to the restaurant.

We did a staycation with our parents and siblings family at this hotel. It was such a pleasant stay with great facility and helpful and friendly staffs. We felt special and taken care off. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. We had the family room with sofa bed that is converted into a very comfortable single bed for our child. The double bathrooms were amazingly convenient. Really enjoyed the non-long hallways hotel set up making each building more like a destination than just a room. The pools (splash and infinity pool) were fun although one of the water area were closed when we were there. The best part of the trip was the breakfast. The spread were amazing. Almost 100% as in everything were super tasty. From fresh noodles soup, congee, omelette, curry, pastry, sweets (including traditional Malay nyonya) to fruit, hot beverages and fruit, they were all excellent. #staycation GETTING HERE Easy access by personal car or if you are coming by public transport, the nearest station is ERL putrajaya central. From this station you can get a cab or grabcar which cost you less than RM15. SERVICES Check in was smooth and professionally done by experienced front officer. it took less than 5 minute to get the key. Services at Makan Kitchen were great as well. Staff were friendly and plate cleaning was done perfectly. As for room service, eveeything was delivered within the allocated timeframe set by the hotel. ROOM It such an honour being upgraded to their king deluxe suite lakeview room. This spacious 1 Bedroom suite features a huge balcony overlooking putrajaya lake and spacious living room complete with powder room and working desk. As for bathroom, it has separate shower,bathtub and tolilet bowl. FOOD Breakfast spread was superb rangin from indiab, malay, western and chinese cuisines. Kid section is an added advantage as they providw ice cream, doughnut and waffle with colorful toppings. Taste wise it was delicious especially their Nasi Lemak with "Sambal Paru". As for in room dining, they also have different option to choose from. I would recommend to try their "Nasi Goreng Warisan Putrajaya". love it so much!! Getting There - really easy and the parking was really spacious Attractions - they provide splash pool for kids and you also can walk down to the beautiful Putrajaya Lake Hotels - really nice and beautiful plus the staff was really friendly and helpful 👍🏻👍🏻 Food & Restaurants - got a lot of choices from Malaysian Cuisine,Chinese Cuisine and also Indian Cuisine.. not to forget the got a lot of pastries and dessert 🤤🤤 Shopping - you can go to IOI or Alamanda Shopping Mall

Two weeks ago, I stayed at one of my favorite brands again - DoubleTree by Hilton Putrajaya Lakeside, and the experience was still great. When checking in, the front desk was very enthusiastic and sent welcome fruits, which made people feel at home. I originally booked a regular room, but was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a suite. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a separate living room and balcony, and you can enjoy the lakeside view. The reflection of the lake at night was particularly beautiful. The breakfast the next day was also very rich. Whether it was local Malay flavor, Indian pancakes, or Western fried eggs, sausages, and baked bread, you can find a suitable choice for yourself. The restaurant environment is spacious and bright. Sitting by the window, it is particularly comfortable to enjoy the lake view while dining. It should be noted that there is no public transportation here, and you have to drive or call Grab to go there. However, transportation is actually quite convenient, and Grab is very fast. If you want to book a special price, you can check trip.com, where there are often promotions. I will come back for vacation next time if I have the chance!

🏨 DoubleTree by Hilton Putrajaya Lakeside 🏨This was the first time I've stayed at a DoubleTree that I wasn't completely satisfied with. The reasons are: 1) Check-in took a very long time because there was only one person at the counter (and the same was true for check-out). 2) This place is really big, with many wings (many buildings). The rooms are not easy to find, and there are thick carpets everywhere, so it's quite difficult to drag your luggage around. It was a rather miserable experience. 3) The breakfast was really not good. There were many choices, but overall, neither the Malay nor the Western food tasted very good. 4) The pillows were too soft, making it difficult to sleep. ✈️Since I was going to the airport the next day, I thought I would stay at a Hilton that was a little closer to the airport (but it's still a 30–45 minute drive). 👍There are still some advantages: the rooms are large and relatively clean, and you can connect your phone to the TV in the room via Bluetooth to watch movies. 🏠I think this place is more suitable for families with children, as there is a mini children's water park. ⚠️There are no restaurants or convenience stores in the vicinity, so if you come here, you should expect to spend your time at the hotel. There is no food available unless you order room service or bring your own snacks.
