The grand towers of the dragon and tiger create a spectacular view, perfectly capturing the essence of Taipei. On a nice day, it's recommended to take a walk around the Dragon and Tiger Pagodas.

The pagodas were completed in January 2025 (Taiwan calendar year 114). Due to construction, it is not possible to climb the towers. It is about a 5-minute walk from Taiwan Railways ZuoYing Station. Every time I visit Kaohsiung, I make a detour here on my way back to the High-Speed Rail ZuoYing Station. Unfortunately, this time the weather was cloudy with occasional rain. The area is surrounded by a lake and is within walking distance for a leisurely stroll. There are also temples nearby and a bustling market. The market, in particular, is large, and I would like to go around it. Items similar to duty-free goods were being sold in bulk at very low prices. If you can stay for a while, I would love to take my time and look around! On the way back, I returned to the High-Speed Rail ZuoYing Station by YouBike.

This is #DragonTigerPagoda in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. I went there in January this year. It was a short taxi ride from the city center, so it's relatively easy to access. It was closed when I went in the evening, but there are food stalls lined up around the area during the day, so you can enjoy local Taiwanese food (I think). I was also able to go inside the building, which was surprisingly interesting.
