Few people know that the stunning homestay with an average cost of over 100 is worth every penny!!
New discovery! Gorgeous mountain view homestay, enjoy the misty sunrise for just over 100 per person! Take advantage of the Dragon Boat Festival holiday before it gets crowded, seize the opportunity and go!
Our original plan was to go to Luang Prabang, but unfortunately, we couldn't get high-speed train tickets. So, we chose to drive from Yunnan to Guangxi, specifically picking beautiful and less-known places. I will post travel and accommodation guides along the way, which will definitely save money$ and be fun. Plus, with a boyfriend who's good at photography, you won't lack for life photos.
This homestay was a treasure my boyfriend found on the way. Due to the continuous rain in Guangxi, we couldn't go to the planned places. We wanted to play in the water in Du'an , but the accommodations there were overpriced and ordinary. In the end, we chose this one, and it did not disappoint! Surprisingly, it wasn't a popular recommendation, but good views really shouldn't be enjoyed alone! So I'm sharing it with you
We arrived at 10:30 pm, and the young lady from the homestay was already waiting for us at the intersection! She helped with the luggage, accompanied us for check-in, and even walked us to our room door , so considerate! When asked about breakfast time, she said: 'Sleep well, eat whenever you wake up.' I was totally touched!
The breakfast was plentiful, especially the fried eggs were so delicious! Unfortunately, it was overcast and rainy, so no sunrise. But I can imagine, if there was a sunrise, sitting on the breakfast terrace would be an absolute treat!
If the weather is good, you can also stargaze ! The homestay even has a telescope! (We didn't get to enjoy it though), since it was inconvenient to go out for photos, my boyfriend took a few shots of me in the room, and the bad weather didn't affect the quality! If it's a sunny day, you'd return with loads of great photos!
Important reminder: The mountain road to the homestay is a bit difficult to navigate, it's recommended to go with a friend who is good at driving, especially at night. We encountered uneven roads at night, initially thought there had been a landslide, it was scary, but after asking the homestay manager, we learned they were just expanding the road. So, the brave get to enjoy the world first!
This homestay is also a rural revitalization demonstration point! According to the manager, it was built by the village, so it might not be widely promoted. But believe me, the area around Du'an in Guangxi is a great off-the-beaten-path travel choice! If you don't want to go where it's crowded, come on over! And by doing so, you'll also contribute to rural revitalization~
