DUSK Restaurant and Bar
Knowing that I love scenic places as well as a good cup of cocktail, my friend brought me to the dusk restaurant and bar that is located on the top of Mount Faber.
Instead of taking a grab which would be kind if boring, we decided to take a cable car ride. Tickets were sold for $33 for the Mount Faber line but, the nice reception lady gave us a discount! Lucky us! So the whole round-trip ticket, was under $30.
The cable car ride was amazing because it allows us to bask in the view of Singapore‘s nightlife. In addition to that the lights coming from Sentosa pretty! We had a pitstop in Sentosa where we walked around for a bit before we took the cable car to mount Faber Peak.
When we arrived, the restaurant was bustling. There was also a live band which I think really sets the mood.
Drinks:
- Test Tube Shots (Dusk till dawn)
- Light Bulb (Dusk till dawn)
- Lime Daiquiri
- Long Island Iced Tea
The drinks my friend and I shared were all very strong. I recommend the lightbulb dust till dawn the alcohol taste is masked by the fruitiness of the drink. It was really really enjoyable.
For a thirst quencher, get the Lime Daiquiri.
For something strong and aesthetically pleasing, get the test-tube dust till dawn.
Food:
- Signature Prawn Capellini
- Truffle fries
- Dark Chocolate cake
- Parline Icecream topped with meringue
The Signature Prawn cappellini tasted amazing. It was adequately salted and the pasta was cooked al Dante, not to dry!!
truffle fries were not overly saturated with truffle oil. It is to the degree whereby I can enjoy the taste of the potato as well as the truffle.
Dessert tasted amazing, especially the Parline icecream. I wasn’t a fan of the meringue but the Parline ice cream and the raspberry sorbet base just mixes so well together that I was really impressed.
Prices:
2 pax of us spent ~ $204 for everything.
in my opinion, it is a very normal price range for such a restaurant and bar. Great food and also great service which makes it worth it.
