The annual Royal Air Force and International Air Show in Eastbourne, England
#myhiddengems 15-18 August 2024, Eastbourne International Airshow 30th year! Four days of incredible air show, featuring some of the best RAF and international air shows! Each of the flying displays is very attractive and is performed on Eastbourne Beach, where visitors can watch by simply looking up or sitting on the rocky beach. Most importantly, this show is free. Among the performances, Red Arrow is the most popular. This year, there is only one performance in the four days, so please pay attention to the program arrangement. red arrow A row of fighter planes performed various flying styles, and the colorful spray from their tails looked like ribbons, very beautiful. There was also a pre-war fighter show, and the sound of the supersonic planes flying past shook the entire sky. In addition to the flight performances, the British Royal Air Force also displayed some missiles, fighter jets, etc. Passengers can also go on board to see what is happening inside the planes, and there are also air force explanations. If you are a military fan, don't miss it!

Eastbourne Pier and Market
We didn't have any special plans when we arrived at the town. We simply walked around the town center and the dock market. The town center was rather bland, with no distinctive buildings or businesses to see. We just ate something there and then walked to the dock. The dock was much more lively than the town center. There was a Middle Eastern-style palace in the middle. A jazz band was playing up front, and many people were dancing along, making the atmosphere much more lively.
I walked around here, looked at the beautiful sea view, and enjoyed the joyful atmosphere, then walked to the market at the entrance. There was a whole row of stalls and quite a lot of shops selling handicrafts, food, wine, drinks, etc. There was a small garden in front of the market. I went there in early May and it was full of tulips of various colors. If I were to recommend an attraction in Eastbourne, I would say it's a good idea to come directly to the pier, with its sea view, band, market, Ferris wheel and garden.
