[2025 Sydney Restaurant] Travel Guide for Edition Roasters (Updated Feb)

The coffee was perfect, matcha latte a little on the sweeter side, and food was delicious. Their matcha Japanese soufflé pancake’s so good that it melted right away when you poured the syrup on it. It’s very fluffy and soft which is to my liking. The place’s pretty cool with the dark theme interior and it seems like they make great coffee too. A bit of a wait over the weekend but it was a good experience. Definitely feels like fine dining but for coffee. A good place to take a date that will impress them. That yuzu cream on the banana is exceptional ! The sweet and savoury flavoured paired with the tangy yuzu curd is the perfect balance. Very addicting. Gem of a cafe. I like the cafe's commitment to the all-black aesthetic. The ambiance is cozy yet modern, making it an ideal spot for a relaxed meal. Their menu is impressive, featuring unique dishes that intrigue the palate. Karaage chicken was amazing (best we’ve tried), and the egg salad bowl was really delicious with familiar Japanese flavours including shiso.
