At first, we hesitated to camp because we will be running the marathon and have no time to enjoy but when we arrived, the view is sooooo worth all the hassle. The mount Kinabalu or known as Akinabalu to the local Sabahans stood majestically and we all were in awe admiring its beauty from a distance. The river is clear as crystal and Rocks that were spread out naturally as a result of mud floods a few years ago are so beautifully spread makes the view breathtaking. A basic accommodation, you can sleep in a tent or in a hut - if in a hut a mattress is spread out and given more pillows and blankets. Cozy and comfortable. If you are in Kota Kinabalu and would like to go on a camping trip, do visit Nahandang Homestay. You will not be disappointed, I promise❣️
