This landmark of Guilin offers great views of the city. Enter the park and to your left you can get views of the elephant trunk hill (with its trunk in the water). To the left, you ascend the stairs to get to the top of the elephant for magnificent views of Guilin and the Li river. Be sure to use the bathroom at the entrance as there are no opportunities along the way or at the top of the hill. Take water with. There are benches at the top of the hill to rest. Be sure to wander around and find the little cave where you can see the trunk from the other side (Some call this the eye of the elephant). The entire trip should not take more than an hour.
