Eling park is a must see in Chongqing. Not many people go there even though it's close to all the famous attractions. It has ancient buildings and beautiful old trees. As everything else in Chongqing it requires a walk up the hill after a subway but it's not too far. It's also a great place for families so kids can run around safely as there care no bikes inside the park. #getgoing2025

Chongqing Travelogue Accommodation🏠We chose a hotel near Guanyinqiao, which is very convenient for taking taxis (taxis in Chongqing are really cheap!). There are many restaurants and shops nearby, and you can also check in at the "I'm in Chongqing" countdown clock. Because we lived so close, we didn't check in until the last day. Food🍚Lunch on the first day was at a friend's house, and his mom's cooking was amazing! It was definitely the most authentic Sichuan-Chongqing cuisine we've ever had! She also made some local specialties for us to take home, so we were basically eating and taking all the way home. We also went to "Dalong Hotpot", which is a place they frequent. We didn't know what we were doing, so we ordered medium spicy. Five minutes into the meal, we were all laughing and saying "Si ha si ha". Once again, we were so impressed by our friend's family's hospitality! We also tried Fanba Tuo and Lao Gan Jia, which were both decent. The streetside cold cake wasn't very good. However, every dessert shop had a large portion and was delicious. Even the desserts in restaurants were different from each other. Lao Gan Jia's Yangmei Bing Tangyuan was really good! There's also a dessert shop next to Dalong Hotpot that's delicious. Dessert is a must-have for spicy food lovers! Attractions🏙️On the first day, we went to Jiefangbei, Hongyadong, and took photos under the Qianshimen Bridge. On the second day, we got a foot massage and then started walking from Tushan to Longmenhao to Dapaidang. We weren't satisfied, so we went karaoke until 3am. We didn't plan on sleeping, but we remembered that our clothes were still in the hotel washing machine, so we went back. On the third day, we checked in at Guanyinqiao - Eling Park - Eling Second Factory - Liziba. We walked from the park to Liziba, but it felt strangely relaxing. On the last day, we really felt the local Chongqing lifestyle, which was very relaxing. The cityscape of Chongqing is truly unique! The people of Chongqing are also very enthusiastic and helpful, which is something you can't experience in other cities. It's a great tourist city, and we were lucky that the weather in Chongqing was relatively cool for three days, without extreme heat. But don't forget sunscreen, I got a lot darker after coming back.

Goose Ridge Park is a great place to visit, but the biggest impression I got was that there were a lot of stairs and a big drop, and almost every attraction had to go up and down. Although it's late May, I'm starting to feel the taste of early summer. I checked in at the [former Australian Embassy], which is now a coffee shop and a popular check-in spot. The [Lotus Pond and Corridor] is very beautiful, listening to the wind and the birds, watching the clear water and the fish swimming, the rockery waterfall hanging bead curtain, it's very nice to come here in the early summer afternoon. The [Rope Bridge and Banyan Lake] is very special, the east-west vertical is an S-shaped stone arch bridge, the top is a rope-shaped fence carved from bluestone, and the three stalagmites in the Banyan Lake are under the bridge. The red house on the way is the [Flying Pavilion], with green tiles and red eaves, the pavilion is like a flying bird, it is the former residence of Chiang Kai-shek and Song Qingling. The [Hometown Terrace] is surrounded by a green screen, lush and poetic, very photogenic.
