A climb that wasn't originally planned? LOL It snowed a lot in the mountainous areas the day before. They say you won't regret it if you see the scenery, so we set off without crampons. It wasn't difficult on the way up, but it seemed like we fell about 3 times on the way down. Crampons are essential when it snows. When I went up, the sky cleared up~~ The view was so breathtaking that I couldn't help but exclaim in admiration. It's truly the best of the best. If you have the chance, don't miss this time and definitely climb it. You won't regret it~~^^

📍Eoseungsaengak (Haean-dong, Jeju-si) ✔️The parking lot is shared with Eorimok parking lot! ✔️If it is full or before snow removal, you have to park on the side of the road and walk a long way, so we recommend using public transportation! ✔️It is the shortest of the Hallasan trails with a one-way course of 30 minutes! ✔️However, there is still a lot of snow, so crampons are essential as there is a risk of slipping when descending! If you park at the Eorimok ticket office and climb for 30 minutes, you can see Jeju City at a glance from the top. The path is made of wooden stairs, so it is easy for children to climb.

Jeju Island's 'Eoseungsaengak', also known as Mini Hallasan 📌 Location: 220-12, Haean-dong, Jeju-si, Jeju If you want to see the snowy scenery, but the Hallasan summit course (Seongpanak, Gwaneumsa) and Eorimok-Yeongsil course are too much, I recommend Eoseungsaengak :) It is a place where even beginners can easily climb with a round trip course of 1 hour! #August Travel Support Event I climbed Eoseungsaengak for Jeju mountaineering. It is a parasitic volcano on Hallasan, but it feels quite high and rough, so I recommend climbing on a day with good weather. It is the highest peak in Jeju, so you have to be prepared. ㅎㅎ The view is really beautiful.

#koreatrip From the parking lot, it would take only 40~45min to reach the summit.. (in Autumn). Also, after for a while from the beginning the uphill road is well paved with the wooden panel. It would't be challenging to go up there( I guess even on a snowy day!!) I went up there with my friend and it was a lucky day. A crystal clear sky with a great ocean view! I could even see Seongsan Ilchulbong!! I hope you can get the same luck that I had..^^

I went there because it was said to be not too difficult, about 30 minutes one way There were a lot of stairs when going up, so it was a bit difficult But when coming down, it was relatively easy and fast. If you want to go to Hallasan but Baekrokdam is too much, go to Eorimok... There was a lot of snow... If you don't go to Eorimok on the trail, and go up to Eoseungsaengak on the other side, you can see the scenery of Hallasan without getting tired...

It was an amazing experience although it would have been easier if we drived rather than public transport. getting on the 240 bus from jeju bus terminal going to eorimok bus stop is convenient but going back to Jeju bus station is challenging. There are no queues. The fastest will get to ride the bus if not you’ll have to wait for about an hour. If you plan on going to the peak during winter, be sure to wear warm clothes, snow boots with spikes (shoe spikes are a must) you won’t be able to even step at the start of the trail without the spikes and walking sticks. And plan the day well make sure you are not in a hurry to go to another place as transpo from their is a long wait. #Hallasan If Hallasan is too hard and you want to feel that feeling, I recommend Eoseungsaengak. It's a place where you can take in a moderate amount of hiking and a great view at a glance. However, there is a time limit for climbing, so make sure to check the time before you go!!! And there are several climbing routes from the parking lot, so make sure to look at the Eoseungsaengak signs and go in carefully!!! This is the 1169m Eoseungsaengak Oreum that I climbed because I felt it was a shame to just go down after climbing the 1100m highland of Hallasan in Jeju Island! Some of you may not be familiar with the name of the Oreum, but it is higher than the 1100m highland and can be quickly climbed in 20-30 minutes 😋😋 The wide open scenery and the ridge of Hallasan were so nice and refreshing..
