[2025 Taipei Stay] Travel Guide for eslite hotel (Updated May)

This time back in Taiwan, I finally had time to schedule a visit to the library. - 📖: 'More than a Library' 📍: Inside the Songshan Cultural and Creative Park in Xinyi District, Taipei 🎫: 50 Taiwan dollars per person - The Songshan Cultural and Creative Park is converted from the former Songshan Tobacco Factory. The long corridor-style old building is now used as an art exhibition space and a cultural and creative product sales area. Some areas require a ticket to visit, like the 'More than a Library' I went to this time. - This is a sunken space design, with most of the books on display related to art, design, and marketing. The library has plenty of space for sitting on the floor, which is very reader-friendly. - Entering through a small, risky entrance, you find yourself in another world. It is still a book display area, which used to be the employee bathhouse of the Songshan Tobacco Factory. Outside the bathhouse, there is a small garden, but unfortunately, it was not open that day. - Inside the Songshan Cultural and Creative Park, there are also many cafes and independent bookstores. The most interesting one is an Eslite bookstore, which is interesting because this Eslite is not only a bookstore but also includes a department store and Eslite Hotel (a hotel opened by Eslite). It's very large and you can spend half a day browsing. - The CAMA Coffee in the park is also one of my favorites. Its architectural style is completely different from other CAMAs. CAMA is cheap and delicious, and I hope it opens in Mainland China soon!

In Taipei, I love to visit Songyan Cultural and Creative Park. There is a 5-star hotel (Eslite Hotel). The restaurant, food, library and lobby are all my favorite restaurants and cafes to entertain friends. Next to it is an Eslite Life Museum. There are snacks and food on the basement floor, Eslite Cinema, and many books and cultural and creative products on the 3rd floor (Eslite Bookstore). There is also a small house next to it with (Guangyi) brunch, as well as a retro shop. The (Douliu Wenqing) cafe converted from a chimney boiler room is a great place to visit. Today, Taipei is cold and drizzling. I recharged my battery and went to Songyan Cultural and Creative Park. I watched two movies at Eslite Cinema. Then I bought two new books at Eslite Bookstore. I finished reading the new books at Eslite Hotel. In the evening, I went to the restaurant on the first floor of Eslite Hotel (The Chapter) and had a bowl of my favorite and best dish in Taipei (braised beef noodles). The braised Australian wagyu beef melts in your mouth. The soup is rich and mellow, sweet and delicious. It warms your heart and stomach. The noodles are chewy and bouncy. Delicious.

Tonight is Christmas Eve, December 24. We have booked The Chapter Western Restaurant in advance to treat Wang Bin and Li Jie from New York, USA, to a Christmas dinner. We ate together (2 lobsters🦞made with sesame oil vermicelli stewed with lobsters) (braised beef noodles) (fried rice with mullet) (cream pumpkin soup) (Australian lamb chops) all delicious. Wang Bin enjoyed the meal. It was really delicious😋 We were so happy and took a lot of happy photos.

Today, the beautiful Qiqi invited two friends and me to have lunch at The Chapter Western Restaurant, a total of four people, to have a lobster set meal. We ordered a table of dishes. A big pot of sesame oil fried 2 Australian lobsters stewed with vermicelli. It was so delicious 😋 warming the heart and stomach. We enjoyed the meal very much. Today I took my colleagues to Yuanta Securities for a meeting. For lunch, I took my colleagues to the restaurant on the first floor (The Chapter Cafe) of (Eslite Hotel) for lunch. I ordered a pot of sesame oil lobster stew with vermicelli and 2 lobsters, fried rice with mullet roe, and onion soup. Today, I invited Qiqi to come to The Chapter for a lobster dinner for lunch. I bought 5 Boston live lobster dinner tickets. Each ticket is exchanged for 2 weeks of Boston live lobster. There are baked lobsters and Chinese cuisine fried lobsters with scallions, garlic and sesame oil. We ordered one of both dishes. We also ordered onion soup and Caesar salad. Dessert baked pudding. Today is the second day of the National Day holiday. I went shopping with my girlfriends and bought shoes. We went to the Chapter cafe on the first floor of the Songyan Cultural and Creative Hotel (Eslite Hotel) to eat the best 😋 braised beef noodles in Taipei. Today I went to the Eslite Hotel lobby library for afternoon tea. A cup of coffee latte and a piece of (Roselle honey cake). Today I went to Songyan Eslite Hotel B2 to listen to the performance of the Bay Sound Band. So at noon we went to the first floor of Eslite Hotel (The Chapter) to have lunch. We ordered (onion soup) and (fried rice with mullet), and then (club sandwich) and a set of (business lunch). There were salad, soup, rib steak and coffee. The ingredients are fresh and the taste is great. We ate and talked. It was very fun.
