To the left, the distinctive durian-shaped Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay stood proudly, while the waterfront shimmered in the midday light. Approaching Suntec City, the modern skyline unfolded with grandeur. The journey beautifully showcased the harmony of architecture, culture, and nature. This simple bus ride gave me a panoramic glimpse of Singapore’s evolving landscape—from heritage quarters to futuristic landmarks. It’s a must-experience route for any traveler wanting to soak in the city’s beauty without rushing.

Amidst the road where cars, buses, trucks and other vehicles are passing by, Singapore really helps reduce pollution by putting in an effort to plant these kinds of flowers and plants. If you have never been to Esplanade Concert Hall to experience music, I strongly urge that you do. Esplanade has a range of activities and musicals catered to different audiences. The few that I have attended included Li Yundi piano recital, Studio Ghilbi music by a Community Group and others. The concert halls are beautifully designed as a world-class performing arts center, with a focus on acoustics and functionality for various performances. Do go and have a look. In addition, there’s also different variety of food choices catered to different diners. Go for a walk along the bay too and visit the Merlion.

A short business trip to Singapore in early February Following the recommendation of a local customer, I had dinner at Garden by the Bay. After a little digestion, I jogged back to the hotel from Garden by the Bay. Along the way, I passed by the Marina Bay Sands, Merlion Park, and Fullerton Hotel. While I was running, there were many locals jogging as well, so the route was not difficult to grasp. There were more and more people walking towards the hotel area from the Merlion Park, and a small section seemed to be under construction, so we later changed to walking back to the hotel. The night temperature in early February was about 24 degrees, which was not unbearably hot. In addition, the humidity was not high that day, so it was comfortable to run. (Compared to the liquid running experience in Bangkok last July)

Such as the see saw, and other games. You would be surprised to find such a playground at the Esplande hall. There is also a bicycle renting area where you can rent a bicycle and explore the Esplanade park and other nearby areas. The best time to come here is in the evening when the weather is cooling. You can alight at the Esplanade train station and walk here.

Admission is free for all. Take a train and alight at the Esplande mrt station at the circle line. From there take a ten minute walk to reach the park.
