#2024mapped Etavia Yufuin Kinrinko I stayed here when I traveled alone in Oita Prefecture. I booked a Japanese-style room with an open-air bath. It is a luxurious room with a large open-air bath outside, where you can enjoy to your heart's content without worrying about being seen. I booked a room late and many hotels were already full, so I drove closer to Lake Kinrin and stayed in a triple room. The loft was a bit low, but having a large bed for each person was great. The elders stayed on the first floor, and the young people stayed in the loft without disturbing each other. The hotel has two baths, one outdoor and one indoor. I deliberately avoided the peak hours of 7-9:00pm and didn't encounter any waiting, but after 10:00pm, I saw some guests waiting, so I suggest avoiding those times. Right across is a Lawson supermarket, but it's almost empty at night due to too many tourists, so I had to walk to a 7-11 about 1km away 🤣 It's a 7-8 minute walk to Lake Kinrin, which is very convenient, and there are many restaurants nearby. Note that most restaurants in Yufuin close around 5-6:00pm.
