[2025 Nagakute Attraction] Travel Guide for Expo 2005 Aichi Commemorative Park (Moricoro Park) (Updated Apr)

When I first went there last winter, I bought a ‘Daesanpo Ticket’ ticket and was only able to see the Daejanggo, but there was more to see in the Daejanggo than I thought, and I was so amazed by the details of the decorations… I was so curious about the outdoor area! So I went again with a ‘Daesanpo Premium Ticket’ ticket✨ I bought a ticket on the website at 2:00 PM on the 10th, 2 months ago, but this time, it was a weekday, so there was less waiting, so I was able to make a reservation easily! I entered at 12 o'clock and had a very fulfilling tour of the warehouse + Howl's Castle + May's House + Youth Hill in that order until the closing time (5 o'clock)😄 However, the park was bigger than I thought, so I was quite pressed for time at the end💦 May's House is located in a far corner compared to other areas, so I had to take a bus, but there were many people waiting for the bus, and sometimes I had to wait for the next bus, so if you feel pressed for time, it would be better to go to Howl's Moving Castle first, which has the most to see, and then look around other areas nearby! (May's House didn't seem to have as much to see as I thought) Howl's Moving Castle has a pretty large area and the details are crazy... ✨ When you actually go inside the moving castle, you'll see the scenery from Ghibli..! There are many things to see on the 2nd floor, but Howl's Room in particular is the place I was most impressed by in Ghibli Park🫢💕 Each prop was so real and mysterious! Since taking pictures inside is prohibited, I recommend that you go and see it in person. Take the tube and transit to another tube which you can’t use the day pass. This commemorative park is big and clean. There are some plagues at the entrance to record the history of this park and a convenience store - Lawson with souvenirs sold. Also there is a souvenir shop opposite to it, selling characters like Moonmin and his friends. A free museum showcasing the expo at 2005 is worthy to be visited, but the way to get in isn’t very clearly stated

I have visited Ghibli Park in Aichi Prefecture twice 🌷 I’m planning my third visit in two months 🫡 For first-time visitors, I highly recommend getting the "Grand Stroll Premium Ticket"!! 🌳 Reservations can be made online starting at 2 PM two months in advance. If you try to book right at 2 PM on your phone, even if the morning slots are sold out, you can almost certainly secure a ticket! 📱🎫 Honestly, it’s hard to see everything in just one day, but whether you’re a big Ghibli fan or not very familiar with it, you’ll definitely enjoy it 🧹🐈⬛🎀 It’s a paradise for taking photos! YON FES is a festival hosted by 04 Limited Sazabys and held at Moricoro Park every April. It's moving to June this year. It's the only festival I go to every year without fail. In 2024, it was held for two days on June 22nd and 23rd. There are two stages, and a total of 11 acts will perform. Of course, the final act will be the organizers 04 Limited Sazabys. At YON FES, there are no overlapping stages and it's easy to move between stages. It's really the most comfortable festival every year. It's a very homey and comfortable festival where you can relax and spend your time. It's a great space where you can enjoy not only the live performances but also the food and merchandise. Aichi Commemorative Park is most well known for its Ghibli Park attractions. Aside from Ghibli Park, a beautiful garden lies within the Commemorative Park. Admire the beautiful cherry blossoms without fighting the crowd. Aichi Commemorative Park is approximately 40mins bus ride away. #cherryblossom2024 This cafe is in Expo 2005 Aichi Commemorative Park. The soyogo coffee is made in Nagakute City. There are many different types of flavours to choose from. The flavor of the soft serve ice-cream is unique too. It is so delicious! After touring the Ghibli theme park, you can pop over to get a cup coffee or the soft serve ice-cream. They also sell some food in case if you are feeling hungry. The coffee also came in small packets where you can bring home to enjoy it.
