I got a room upgrade to a deluxe king room and enjoyed room service and breakfast! The service was so friendly and the room service was expensive but delicious! I was worried because there was a review that said Fairmont Ambassador had a construction site view, but the view was good because I could see the Han River and the National Assembly! Since it is a 5-star hotel in Seoul that has not been built for long, everything was clean. The amenities were Le Labo, but they were not disposable, so it was a bit disappointing..! If you think about the environment...ㅎㅎ You have to make a reservation in advance to use the swimming pool, but there is only an indoor pool and swimming caps are required, so I didn't use it. Breakfast opened at 6:30, and I was surprised that there was Peking duck, and I could eat as much of my favorite cherries as I wanted!! I had a very comfortable and luxurious ho-kangs! It was nice to just stay in the room with the air conditioner on because Netflix was connected. ㅎㅎ The view of the Han River is slightly visible. The bathroom was very clean, so I was satisfied. Above all, it's connected to The Hyundai, so it's really convenient to eat or go shopping, so please keep that in mind! The service hours are from 6:30 to 10:00 AM. The most famous dish at Spectrum Buffet is Peking Duck. It is said to be the only one in Korea. Aside from that, there are similar foods to other hotels. Of course, there are high chairs, baby spoon sets, plates, and cups. What I personally found unique was that there was drinkable yogurt as if it was for sale. On one side, there was a coffee machine and a latte, so you could make whatever you wanted, and there was separate syrup and milk. The overall atmosphere was luxurious, and the staff were friendly.

I had a #staycation at Fairmont Ambassador Seoul, a new hotel in Yeouido. Yeouido is a financial district in Seoul, has a nice Han river park (great to visit during cherry blossom season) and many nice restaurants. This hotel is connected to The Hyundai Seoul Department store, easy to shop and eat. There are lots of events and pop-ups going on in The Hyundai everyday, so if you like shopping, Fairmont Ambassador is a great place. The room is relatively big, new, luxurious. No view from hotel, department store view is slightly better than constuction view.. I think.. I could have Peking duck for breakfast buffet. Yeouido office view while at the breakfast. Overall, a new hotel, nice service, good location near to IFC and department store, enjoyed the visit.
