|Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, Luxury in the Center
For this trip to Vancouver, we chose the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, located at 900 West Georgia Street, British Columbia. The location is really great, and it is very convenient to walk to various attractions and even the port. Georgia Street is full of food, and you can walk to various famous restaurants within a few minutes from the hotel. The lively Gastown and the shopping area of Robson Street are all nearby.
The location of this hotel really made every step of our trip a lot easier. In this bustling city center, the Fairmont Hotel presents a perfect combination of old-world charm and modern luxury. The interior of the hotel is very luxurious, and the decoration of the public area is especially exquisite. The front desk staff were very friendly from the moment we stepped into the hotel and quickly checked us in. The room layout is also very satisfactory, with a safe, iron and ironing board, bathrobe, and other facilities, and the shower water pressure is particularly strong and comfortable.
The room is very large, and the bed and pillows are very comfortable. We stayed on the 15th floor, and the view was amazing, overlooking the beautiful city. Although the bathroom is a bit small, it does not affect our enjoyment of the entire stay. Every time we return to the room, we can feel the warmth of home. Every morning, you can also enjoy amazing Swiss muesli in the hotel restaurant, which is exquisite and delicious. The hotel also has a lovely concierge service that takes care of every little detail, from the thoughtful umbrellas and quality toiletries in the room.
It is also worth mentioning the dining options nearby. There is a French cafe opposite the Vancouver Art Gallery - Faubourg, where the coffee and pastries are simply amazing! What surprised us even more was that we often saw two cute dogs in front of the hotel, and during the holidays, they became our temporary "pets," and we felt great every time we saw them.
However, the hotel also has a few minor drawbacks, such as the bathroom being a bit small and the air conditioning sometimes not being very effective, especially on those warm nights. Sometimes it takes a while to wait for a taxi, and I remember one morning, we waited about 30 minutes for a taxi. But these minor drawbacks will not stop us from choosing this place again.
Overall, whether for business or vacation, the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver is a highly recommended choice. No matter how busy we are, we will definitely come back to stay again. 🌟
