Despite the persistent cold, Hangzhou has completely charmed me. A short walk brought me to Longjing Village, where I embarked on a stunning hike through the terraced tea fields leading to 法喜寺 (Faxi Temple). A simple, yet satisfying, ¥5 lunch fueled me for a contemplative walk around the temple, a moment of gratitude and reflection. The serene tranquility of Qinghe Street 清河坊 and Southern Song Imperial Street 南宋御街, followed by the lively buzz of Hefang Street 河坊街, provided a perfect contrast, capping off a wonderful day.
