According to legend, when Qin moved its capital to Xianyang, the daughter of Duke Mu of Qin, Nongyu, played the flute and attracted phoenixes here. The architecture of the Phoenix Platform is unique. It was the highest point of the city at that time. There are temples on it, and the corridors are staggered, resembling a group of phoenixes gathering together, hence the name Phoenix Platform. The platform is 6.1 meters high and covers an area of about 600 square meters. There are four main halls on the platform and two main halls under the platform.
