In the summer,
I traveled to Kagoshima.
Seeing the smoking volcano, Sakurajima,
I couldn't wait to take a ferry to explore it.
The island had a slight sulfur smell,
but the volcanic activity that day was not intense,
and overall visibility was excellent.
At the Shiroyama Observatory,
gazing at it
was also quite enjoyable.
Thanks to the great weather that day,
we were able to fully appreciate
the magnificent Sakurajima Volcano.

A port where you can catch a boat to Sakurajima
This is the port where ships to Sakurajima operate. It operates 24 hours a day. This is because the islanders need to be able to escape in case of an emergency. The fare is very cheap and the time it takes is very short, about 15 minutes. I hope you have a pleasant trip. Adios
