First time staying at Fives Hotel which is located directly opposite Komtar Mall and very near to immigration custom! One building away has shell station so can buy anything at shell convenience store! Room was quite small but was alright if is staying for just one night! No swimming pool and Gym facilities! Breakfast buffet was alright only, limited choices as most of the food running out quickly! Recommend for a short getaway! The room size is a bit small but it is comfy enough for a short stay. The location of the hotel is good as it is really near the customs which is very convenient! Enjoyed my stay here as I was able to get to all the shopping malls and famous food places like Ah Wang Duck Restaurant by just walking there!!

New hotel located near the CIQ. Also near the KOMTAR shopping mall. what’s great is that it is located near the city area. Lots of shops and foods stall that you can find there. There’s also a night market , which is known as “Bazaar Karat” which is also 10-15mins walking distance. usually this night market opens during the late evening after 7pm. what’s great about this hotel is that it is very clean. and the check in process is easy and fast. #foodie #fiveshotel #jb #summervacation #

Was a 3d2n short jb trip. Booked the hotel at a reasonable and affordable price! Place was so convenient. Hotel was clean and comfy. Tho it seems to be small in size, overall the service was good. Would like to recommend everyone if they are having short trip to jb and needed hotel to stay. Would come back and book again if im going jb! Thanks for the hospitality. Keep it up :)

#greatstay the room was spacious and bed were comfy. No issue sleeeping at nigjt. Location was great and easy access to everywhere. Our stay was comfortable and food easy to get.

Buffet breakfast at Fives jb city centre hotel is considered not bad for the price paid together with hotel stay. The spread is not a lot but food quality is alright. The ambience of the cafe is good. Staff is helpful.

We self customised the green tea matcha dessert, can add on watermelon, milk sauce, brown sugar pearls as topping, total around rm18.90. Good enough to share with 1 toddler and 2 adults, as we went on a rainy day. You have to enter from outside of building or from fives hotel, can’t link directly from zenith mall. Fives hotel is located in the Johor Bahru city center and surrounded by many shopping malls. They have breakfast included in their hotel stay and they serve breakfast from 6.30 am to 10.30 pm at level 7. It is a small area set up for buffet breakfast. They have a noodles station but you have to cook your own noodles. The selection is not as much compared to other hotels but it is still enjoyable. The hotel staff are also there to assist you if you need help. This is a newly open bakery located right inside the hotel lobby. Along this street, there are several hotels and you can spot Amari JB Hotel, Susanna Hotel and Fives Hotel. I found this Kacang Peanut cafe when I was walking down. I went in and took a look and they had an interesting menu. It is also air-conditioned and the table placement is spacious. The staff tell me they have more choices during the morning when they just finish baking. So if there is anything I like to have, it is better I come before afternoon. #wecreate
