Escape the Noise! My Super Healing Bandung Travel Diary 🌿
I visited Bandung, Indonesia in February and finally got around to sharing my solo trip itinerary & expenses. Hope it helps anyone planning to go!
🛌 Accommodation Recommendation
Pasar Baru Square Hotel — Located right in the city center, within walking distance to Citywalk shopping & dining. Super convenient! The staff were very friendly and helpful, always ready to recommend good places to eat and visit.
🗓 Day 1
✈️ Fly from Kuala Lumpur (KUL) to Jakarta (CGK), then Grab to Bandung
🛍 Shopped at Heritage Factory Outlet — lots of brand-name items at bargain prices, but double-check authenticity!
🍽 Dinner + stroll at Cihampelas Walk
🛏 Rested at hotel
🗓 Day 2
🚘 Private car with a local driver (he was very kind and even helped take photos! 📸)
- Tangkuban Perahu (Tangkuban Volcano) 🌋
Very windy and some vendors nearby — bring a jacket & small change. (It was rainy season when I went, so it was cold)
- Orchid Forest Cikole 🌳
Not very recommended — many attractions require extra fees. The Golden Pine Cafe inside looks beautiful but was too crowded to enter
- Kopi Luwak Cikole ☕️
Highly recommended! An English-speaking guide explained the civet coffee making process. You can sample coffee and even hold a civet! 🐾
- Floating Market Lembang 🛶
Beautiful scenery with a small Japanese-style street Entrance ticket includes a free drink.
- Bakso Tjap Haji 🍜
Dinner at this meatball soup spot recommended by the driver — delicious and affordable!
🗓 Day 3
🚘 Continued private car tour
- Kawah Putih (White Crater) 🌫
Weather was foggy, creating a mystical atmosphere. Bring hats, warm clothes, and rain gear (it was rainy season)
- Rengganis Suspension Bridge 🌉
Ticket includes suspension bridge walk, cable car ride, and hot spring access — plus a complimentary tea! Don’t forget extra clothes for changing
- OZT Pork Ribs 🍖
Very tasty and highly recommended
- Paskal 23 Mall 🛍
Casual stroll and shopping
- Rumah Mode Factory Outlet
Nothing special, but there’s good ambience to eat dinner
🗓 Day 4
🌄 Morning walk along Braga Street + coffee at the famous Jabarano Coffee ☕️
🚆 Train journey: Bandung Station → Pandalarang → Halim
✈️ Fly from Jakarta (CGK) back to Kuala Lumpur (KUL)
💰Budget breakdown can be seen on P7
Note: Grab and Gojek apps are very convenient in Indonesia, but places like Tangkuban Perahu and Kawah Putih are quite far, so we opted for a private driver on those days. The driver was calm, friendly, punctual, and even helped take photos — no pushy shopping stops. His contact info is in the last image. If you can speak Malay, communication will be easier!
