Tokyo Kawazu Sakura Cherry Blossom Viewing Guide 🌸 The old Nakagawa cherry blossoms are in full bloom!
#TokyoSakura
Want to be the first to enjoy the cherry blossoms in early March, but don’t want to go to faraway Izu? In fact, you can also see beautiful Kawazu cherry blossoms in Tokyo! ✨
📍 There are about 50 Kawazu-zakura trees planted along the Kyu-Nakagawa River (Hirai, Edogawa-ku), and the best viewing period is from late February to early March every year. Pink cherry blossoms bloom under the blue sky, with the Tokyo Skytree in the distance and the Chuo-Sobu Line passing by, making this a unique cherry blossom viewing spot with Tokyo style.
🌸 Recommended time for cherry blossom viewing
From noon to sunset, the sun shines and the breeze blows, which is the best time to have a picnic under the cherry trees and enjoy the romantic atmosphere of spring!
