Most of the photographs in this exhibition were taken from an aerial perspective from fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters, and drones, often with a flat surface, into which the image is transformed into gorgeous gradient color fields, or vibrant grid compositions reminiscent of modernist abstraction. The images reveal striking details at a monumental scale, with painterly textures and iconic symbols that reveal the joint designs of nature and humans in infrastructure.
