The check-in staff was very friendly, enthusiastic and patient, and they also introduced the hotel's facilities in a thoughtful manner. 🛏 The room I stayed in was spacious and bright, with a reasonable layout. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and I had a good sleep. The view from the room is also good, with a beautiful view of the garden. Plus, it's only 7.6 km from Shanghai Legoland, so once the park opens, this area will definitely become even livelier. 🌿 Stunning Environment The hotel is built around a lake, surrounded by lush greenery and breathtaking views. My room had a balcony with a lovely lake view—so relaxing. Room experience: Comfort and surprise Our room was on a high floor of the hotel, and when we opened the window, we could see the tranquil beauty of Fengjing Ancient Town, which was in stark contrast to the lively and festive atmosphere outside the window. Overall, it was a great experience! There was a slight smell of renovation in the public areas of the lobby and banquet hall, but not in the room. The hotel service was great 👍. As it was newly opened, the staff were enthusiastic and attentive. They were everywhere, and there were a lot of them, which made communication very comfortable. The facilities and hardware were great. The room was spacious and bright, and the bedding was comfortable, which allowed for a good rest 😴. The breakfast was also quite varied 🥐, and the fruit was very fresh. There were free snacks and drinks delivered to the room in the afternoon. The executive lounge is not yet open, but I look forward to it opening and providing guests with an even better experience. The hotel gym 🏋️‍♂️ was well-equipped, and the pool 🏊‍♀️ was open from 10 am to 7 pm. Although it closed relatively early, it was able to meet the needs of most people. A Legoland 🎡 is being built near the hotel, and it is expected to open in 2025. This French chateau-style building encompasses all the designer's tributes to French culture: tall Ionic columns, Haussmann-style rooftops, sculptures in the symmetrical gardens... The hotel, built around a lake, is surrounded by the charming scenery of the Jiangnan region. Even before entering the hotel, one is deeply attracted by the landscape at the main entrance, which combines cascading water, sculptures, and lawns. The 'Joy Fish·School of Fish Chasing the Sun' sculpture, with its theme of a school of fish, enhances the liveliness of the sculpture with colorful leaping fish, symbolizing continuous prosperity and growth. Upon closer inspection, it is easy to find the exact location of the hotel. At the entrance to the hotel's elevator lobby, the black volcanic stone walls are appropriately adorned with bright red flowers; the radial pathways lead to various parts of the hotel, such as the restaurant, lobby, and elevator hall, much like the road planning and design of Paris. Also on the first floor of the hotel, the corridor leading to the banquet hall is full of artistic decorations, such as the entire wall of bright red raw stone, which serves as an excellent photo backdrop. Children's Day is always the most anticipated holiday for kids, and this year we chose the Four Points by Sheraton Fengjing that just opened last month to celebrate June 1st with the children. The hotel's exterior features a French castle style, and the decor inside the lobby is also astonishingly well-designed. The guest room experience is superb, with all sorts of modern amenities that make it very convenient and comfortable. In addition, the hotel is fully equipped with a swimming pool, gym, and children's playground. Such a hotel, located in Shanghai and overall deserving of a 5-star luxury rating, offers a night's stay for less than 1k, which is simply the king of cost performance. Coinciding with the stay on Children's Day, we also participated in the hotel's June 1st activities, becoming little chefs for a while and experiencing the DIY of handmade cupcakes. The kids were all happily engaged, and our little chefs couldn't wait to start eating the cupcakes they had just made. Even after returning to the room, there were still crumbs of cake on their faces that hadn't been wiped off, and the sneaky eating was immediately discovered by us, haha. The dinner was enjoyed at the hotel's Playtaste Society Western restaurant buffet. The seafood was fresh, the barbecue was flavorful, and the dessert table, the kids' favorite, had an extremely rich selection!!! It was probably the best dinner Jojo has had recently.
