Four Points by Sheraton Seoul Station, South Korea
This time I came to the Four Points by Sheraton Seoul Station owned by Marriott. Overall, it is really hard to describe.
Room type: Deluxe room
Recommended: ⭐️⭐
Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Transportation: ⭐️⭐️
Price: 💰
Speaking of transportation, although the hotel advertises itself as Seoul Station, the distance is actually not close at all and it takes at least 15-20 minutes to walk. Since there are no special attractions nearby, there are not many people in Myeongdong, so be careful when going out at night.
In terms of service, the staff did not show a warm welcome, did not introduce the hotel's facilities, and did not help carry the luggage. Compared with other Sheraton series that I have stayed at before, it can be said that it is not bad.
As for the room, they said this room has been upgraded. The space is indeed a bit larger than the average room, and there is still room to move around even if you put your luggage in the corridor. But the design is really tasteless.
Cleanliness is also average, there are some obvious glue stains and stains in the bathroom. There are water stains on the outside of the windows, and even on a sunny day, the view is blocked by the roofs and air-conditioning troughs of neighboring buildings, making it not very nice to take pictures. There are no special issues with other facilities.
The air conditioning was also another disappointment. It only provided air conditioning but no heating. It was just the opposite of another Marriott Aloft Myeongdong. It was really funny 😂 Fortunately, the weather was getting warmer by then, so it didn't have much impact.
Another thing worth noting is that part of Seoul Station is open-air and the noise is relatively loud. Even if my room is not facing that way, I can still hear it. People who have poor sleep quality may need to pay more attention when choosing this hotel.
The only good thing about this hotel is the free Netflix. Considering that the nearby streets are relatively deserted and there are no interesting places, it is considered a good entertainment.
The underground passage connects Seoul Station, underground shopping streets, and hotels. Although it sounds good and you don't have to worry about rain, the passage is not open 24 hours a day. I had an early morning flight to Osaka on the second morning. Halfway through, the shopping mall passage in the middle was closed. As a result, I had to drag my large luggage up the stairs, which was very inconvenient.
All in all, the hotel price is cheap, but the overall experience needs to be improved.
