Fugaku Wind Cave is a natural lava cave located in the Aokigahara Jukai forest at the foot of Mt. Fuji, and is designated as a national natural monument. Here are its attractions and how to get there.

* A natural refrigerator: The average temperature inside the cave is about 3°C throughout the year, making it very cool, and you can experience a cool space even in summer. It was once used as a storage facility for silkworm eggs and seeds.
* Fantastic icicles: From winter to spring, huge natural icicles form inside the cave, creating a mysterious sight. The best time to see them is from early January to late May.
* Unique topography: You can see various topography created when the lava cools and hardens. The beauty of the shapes created by the power of nature, such as lava shelves, rope-shaped lava, and tree-shaped lava, is overwhelming.
