There is actually an ancient hanging temple from the Tang Dynasty hidden in Fujian! Lingtong Temple is located in Pinghe District, Zhangzhou.
It was built in the Tang Dynasty and was built on a cliff. It was praised as the first mountain in southern Fujian by "China National Geography". Lingtong Mountain is also known as the "Little Huangshan Mountain" in Fujian.
Many scenic spots are beautiful on a sunny day, but Lingtong Temple on a rainy day has a unique artistic conception. On a sunny day, you can enjoy the beauty of the sunset, and on a rainy day, you can appreciate the beauty of the mist. In summer, you can often see the spectacular waterfall falling from the cliff above the temple.

1️⃣Family-friendly: Start from Qingyun Temple to Lingtong Temple, then go down the mountain along the same route, about 1.5 hours. The paved roads in the scenic area are easy and safe to walk on, and can be used by both the elderly and children.

2️⃣Half-day hiking: from Qingyun Temple to Lingtong Temple, then to Qingtian Peak, and then go down the mountain along the same route, about 3 hours. Most of the steps to Qingtian Peak are primitive stone roads, and there is also a section of steel ladder welded on the stone that requires climbing, which requires a certain amount of physical strength.

3️⃣Hike the large loop: starting from Qingyun Temple, passing through Lion Peak and Qingtian Peak, and finally arriving at Lingtong Temple, and then returning to Qingyun Temple via the scenic road. The whole journey is about 10 kilometers and takes 5-6 hours. Most of this route is wild, so be sure to bring hiking poles and sufficient supplies, and travel with others.

🔴Incense is not provided in the temple, but you can buy it at the foot of the mountain and take it up the mountain.
