This time when I came to the Dunbei store, as soon as I entered the restaurant, I saw large floor-to-ceiling windows for natural light, and a plant art installation created by plant installation artist Li Ji that resembled the concept of Taiwan's mountains, combining sunlight and greenery.
It was my first time here, so I ordered the signature dishes and pre-ordered the "Pomfret Rice Noodles" and "Braised Crab Meat Lion Head". The soups of these two dishes are delicious, the ingredients are substantial, and the taro cubes in the rice noodles are soft and quite tasty. The service staff will considerately pack it into small bowls.
I also ordered "Stir-fried Wax Apple with Seasonal Wild Vegetables" - it was the first time I had eaten it this way, with the wax apple being added to the dish and the wild vegetables being stir-fried over high heat with ginger. It tasted sweet and refreshing. "Braised Pork with Candied Dates" -- The pork belly melts in your mouth and is not greasy at all. In addition to soy sauce, there are also large candied dates, so the sauce is sweet and delicious when eaten with rice. "Fujin Mouth-watering Chicken" -- The chicken is tender and juicy, served with spicy chili oil and another non-spicy dipping sauce, cool and tasty. "Songhua Fly Head" - Different from the usual salty taste of fly heads, leek flowers, minced meat and preserved eggs are stir-fried together over high heat. It is delicious and goes well with rice.
Although there was a personal minimum consumption, I couldn't help but order many special dishes to share. It was quite suitable for family gatherings, and the food and environment were both good.
