The tranquility of the beautiful Japanese garden was soothing. After that, I enjoyed the spectacular view from 'Echizen Ono Castle.' For lunch, I had Fukui's specialty, sauce katsudon, at 'Nomura-ya Shokudo.' In the afternoon, I visited the 'Echizen Daibutsu' and finally the 'Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum.' I didn't know this city at first, but when I got the pass, I looked for some information about what I could do there. When I found out that there was a dinosaur museum that was ranked in the top 5 in the world, I immediately rescheduled my time because my son liked it (and I did too). 😁 Traveling by train is like in Japanese cartoons, when you take a local train and see rice fields and towns like in the countryside. When you get there, you'll be amazed by the atmosphere around the museum. It's like being in a valley, the air is cool, the leaves are starting to change color (in October), and there's fog in the evening. The museum is also good, not very big, but complete, and many dinosaurs move and make realistic sounds. The atmosphere in the dome is realistic, making it look magical. In conclusion, I'm glad I came, but it took a long time. I had to take the train and then the bus. It took 1.5 hours from Fukui Station. It's a trip to rest my legs, change the atmosphere, and gain more experience for my son. 😆

The Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum is a natural history museum with a dinosaur theme located in Nagaoyama General Park in Muraoka-cho, Katsuyama City, Fukui Prefecture. This year, the new building opened, so I revisited it. The main building has 50 full dinosaur skeletons, which is very impressive! The inside is very clean, and you can take a rest on the benches whenever you like! We went there on the last day of a three-day weekend. We had heard that the parking lot would be crowded, so we lined up before 9am, but there were already a lot of people there. The dinosaur museum was great, but the surrounding facilities were also great. The kids played in the park for a few hours. The food was delicious, too. We had a great time. I went to the newly renovated Dinosaur Museum 🦖 It was a 3-day weekend, so I was surprised at how many people there were there 😳! I bought my admission ticket on the way there in the car! Some tickets were already sold out, so it might be a good idea to get one in advance 🫶 On the way from the parking lot to the main building, there was a mini park playground and parks all around, so I was surprised at how spacious it was, where you can enjoy yourself all day Was it this spacious before? I wondered The moment I entered the museum, I felt excited as I went down the escalator to the bottom... When I got to the bottom, the most impressive T-rex appeared!! ! ! I was greeted by a moving T-rex. My 3-year-old niece was surprised by the moving T-rex. There were also many large dinosaur fossils, so it was a good learning experience. There was a bus route to experience fossil excavation, but I chose the easy route. I received a thorough and detailed explanation and learned about the characteristics of stones that are easy to find. I thought, "I have an hour!" but when I concentrated, the time flew by. I also ate inside. There was a long wait for the restaurant space in the main building, so I ate at the food court right next to the building where I could eat quickly. Of course, I eat curry at times like this. I'm glad that it came with chicken. It was well seasoned and delicious. I still wanted to play in the park and experience a full-scale fossil excavation experience.
