#TravelItinerary #CheonanTravel #FamilyTravel #Gakwonsa #CheonanCafe #CheonanFamilyGathering Day 1 On the first day of my Cheonan trip, I went to Gakwonsa located in Taejosan, Anseo-dong, Cheonan-si with my family :) It is a temple that was founded in 1975 by the great power of the founder, Gyeonghaebeopin, and Josil, and is registered as a direct parish of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism. You can light lanterns and it was nice to take a walk around the quiet temple. After looking around Gakwonsa with my family, we went back to our accommodation and had a barbecue party together❤️ Day 2 After eating a simple breakfast and going home, I visited Esso Cafe in Cheonan. It was quiet and cozy. There was outdoor seating, and the coffee and desserts were both great. The owner was also very kind.

📍Cheonan Gakwonsa (245 Gakwonsa-gil, Dongnam-gu, Cheonan-si, Chungcheongnam-do) ▪️ I recommend Cheonan Gakwonsa, a 30-minute drive from downtown Cheonan :) You can also go by bus, but it's a 20-minute walk ​▪️It's great all year round, but you can see Chungnam double cherry blossoms from early April to early May ​▪️Gakwonsa double cherry blossoms are at their peak in mid-April, so it's a good Chungnam drive course to visit next week :) ▪️If you visit on the weekend, there are so many people that parking is difficult #Cherry blossoms

The first double cherry blossoms I saw in my life were in Gyeongju with my boyfriend when we were dating, and it's already the season again. But! Double cherry blossoms usually bloom in mid-April, so you can see them after the cherry blossoms fall!! As of April 17, 2025, the double cherry blossoms are about 60% in bloom, and it is expected to be in full bloom that weekend. Since the double cherry blossoms bloom about two weeks later than regular cherry blossoms, the best time to see them is from mid to late April.  In the grounds of Gakwonsa Temple, double cherry blossoms are beautifully in bloom around the main buildings such as Daeungbojeon and the Bronze Buddha, making them great for taking a walk and appreciating. In particular, the Suwa cherry blossoms are popular as a photo spot because they have abundant flower buds hanging from drooping branches.  You can park at Parking Lot 1 near Taejosanru and Parking Lot 2 near Sangam Reservoir. It can be crowded on weekends, so it is recommended to visit early. As of April 13, it takes about 10 minutes from the entrance of Gakwonsa Temple Road to the parking lot (It is expected to take more than 30 minutes next week)
