Since we lived near the Aliados subway station, we chose pork chop buns from the famous restaurant #Conga for breakfast to experience the daily taste of Puerto Ricans. After enjoying the meal, the first stop was the super popular Livraria Lello bookstore, which is famous for its gorgeous wood-carved stairs and stained glass skylights. Although there were so many visitors that I didn’t know what I was looking at~ But the stairs The design is still worth a visit! (Remember to reserve an admission time online first!) Then, walk to #Carmo Church (Igreja do Carmo). The exterior wall is covered with exquisite blue and white tiles. It is a model of Baroque architecture and is also easy to take photos. After visiting the church, go shopping along R. das Carmelitas, which is full of unique shops. This is the right place to buy handicrafts and souvenirs! I randomly chose a roadside shop for lunch, and it was surprisingly delicious. Sure enough, there are delicious surprises everywhere in Bodo! After eating, stroll through R. das Flores (Flower Street). Although the street is not long, it is full of various specialty shops, where you can continue to buy souvenirs and gifts. The highlight of the afternoon was the #Palácio da Bolsa (Palácio da Bolsa). This 19th-century building is famous for its magnificent interior design, especially the ornate decoration of the Moorish Golden Hall, which is truly stunning. Visitors need to reserve a guided tour in advance, and commentary in English and other foreign languages ​​is currently available. Although the visit is not long, the exquisite interior decoration is definitely worth a look! A day trip must end with a delicious local meal. This time, we chose Pedro dos Frangos to taste Puerto’s famous grilled chicken dish. The magnificent Carmo Church has a stunning three-dimensional sculpture design on the front, which makes people admire it. The blue and white artistic tiles on the side are a unique tile art installation in Portugal. There are paintings with the Bible as the story background, as well as symmetrical geometric patterns and floral designs. The overall feeling is very harmonious, and with the bright sunshine and the blue sky and white clouds as the backdrop, it forms a beautiful three-dimensional picture. The camera can't stop, wanting to capture every beautiful moment. I love this church so much. The church is magnificent and everyone is quietly listening to the pastor's sermons and praying devoutly. Carmo Church Carmo Church is another attraction in Porto that "Azulejos fans" must not miss. The front facade of the church is exquisite and elegant, but the real highlight is the blue and white tile mural on the side wall - Rococo style, complex and elegant, from church stories, monastic scenes to religious symbols, each frame is like a delicate painting. This wall often appears in postcards and beautiful Instagram photos. When you actually stand in front of it, you can feel its meticulous craftsmanship and its quiet and sacredness. ⸻ The building in the middle is Casa Escondida. You may notice that between the two churches there is a mini house that is only about one meter wide - this is the legendary "Hidden House (Casa Escondida)"!
